A hand-finished, black antique malleable iron, multipoint lock door handle from Kirkpatrick, manufactured in a traditional English ironfoundry.

Originally made for PVCu and composite doors, multipoint locks are becoming more popular on wooden doors, especially new wooden doors.

These British made, multipoint lock handles are available as standard with centres of either 92mm (the most popular size currently in the UK) or 68mm (usually to fit older doors). However, we can have them made up to accommodate any centre size required. Please email us if you require handles with an alternative size.

These handles can be supplied with the following plate fixings:

Face Fix - Plate screwed onto the door

Bolt Fix - Plates bolted together

Face Fix handles are fitted in a traditional way, with four screws per handle (screws provided with the handle). These fixings are normally used on wooden doors.

Bolt Fix handles are fitted on doors where screws will not work. A good example of this would be composite doors where the wood is too thin to take screws.*

* When ordering Bolt Fix multipoint lock handles, please remember to measure the “Bolt Centres”. This is the distance from the centre of the top bolts to the centre of the bottom bolt. 

Each door handle is traditionally made here in the UK and finished by hand, with a two coat, protective finish.

Kirkpatrick’s long tradition of manufacturing means that they have a style and authenticity which is lacking in the cheap imitations which are available. Their workforce is skilled in the traditional methods of production, which have not changed in essence over the last 156 years. Although it is possible to find many similar products available both in the UK and worldwide, the essential difference is that their cast products are whiteheart malleable iron, which is particularly durable and well suited to the manufacture of architectural ironmongery.
