This authentic period letter flap can recreate an accurate historical scene in a building of importance, whilst also putting that perfect finishing touch to an area of new interior design.

A beautiful letter flap manufactured to compliment the Brassart “Constable” letterbox, but is just as suitable for any horizontal letterplate. These letter flaps are traditionally made here in the UK and finished by hand, so you can be assured that each one is truly unique.

This is a very high quality, solid brass letter tidy, which is available in Brassart’s full range of finishes (see below), so will suit almost any style of decor. The plated and applied finishes are applied to the cast brass letter tidy and finished by hand, guaranteeing an exceptional finish quality.

This letter flap is also available in gold or silver plate.

Silver letter flaps are available either plain silver plated or antique silver plated.

Gold letter flaps are available in either Titanium Gold or in Antique Gold Plate.

Titanium gold letter flaps are supplied in a gold coloured PVD finish. PVD stands for “Physical Vapour Deposition”. This is a state-of-the-art process where molecules of hardwearing metals are deposited onto the metal surface. This microscopic layer protects the finish from discolouration. This protective layer makes this gold letter tidy especially suitable for use in normally high wear-and-tear situations, such as stately homes, public buildings, retail establishments, hotels and commercial premises.

When ordering, please check that you choose a size of letter flap which covers the retaining bolts of your letterplate. If buying a new letterplate, check the “Bolt Centre” measurements; your letter flap should be longer than this distance.
