A hand-finished, traditional Victorian oval door knob mounted on a shaped backplate.

Available in:

Latch Backplate – To suit a standard mortice latch (no keyway)

Lock Backplate – With a keyhole to suit a standard mortice sashlock

Bathroom Backplate – With thumbturn to suit a bathroom sashlock

These door knobs are traditionally made here in the UK and finished by hand, so you can be assured that each knob is truly unique.

Every door knob is individually quality checked at the end of the authentic manufacturing process and doesn’t leave the factory until the smoothness of movement and finish quality has been checked.

Suitable for use with mortice furniture, these knob sets can be used as either external or internal door knobs.

Although this door knob can be used as either an internal or external door knob (it can be used on any interior door with a mortice sashlock), it is normally fitted as an exterior door handle, as it has a keyhole.

It can be supplied as either a solid brass door knob (choose from lacquered or unlacquered) or in one of the range of plated or applied finishes.

The plated and applied finishes range from both antique to contemporary, so will suit almost any style of decor. Choose from a range of brass, chrome and nickel finishes, in antique, polished, satin or distressed styles. For example; you could choose an antique brass door knob for a more traditional house or choose a polished chrome door knob for a more contemporary style.

This set is also available in the full range of solid bronze door knob finishes - Real Bronze Metal Antique, Polished Bronze (Gunmetal) and Tudor Bronze. These bronze finishes are not plated finishes, but solid, cast bronze door knobs.

Please note, these are handcrafted, British made products which may be made up bespoke for your order. As such, please allow approximately three to four weeks for manufacture and delivery of door knobs in solid brass, applied and plated finishes, or four to five weeks for solid bronze door knobs.
