Although not British-made, this is a nice quality, hand-finished rim latch, manufactured in Europe.

Both the external design and internal mechanism are based on original Victorian rim latches. Each rim lock is dual-handed, has a traditional thumb nail latch and comes complete with an emergency release (facilitating access from outside the room).

These rim latches are available in three “hand aged” finishes – Aged Brass, Cast Iron with Brass Fixings and Nickel Plated Brass.
